EVANGELISM Even though James is a Molecular Biologist by training and education, his passion is telling others about the love of God by teaching the Word of God. James has been involved in ministry for more than 18 years, and was ordained in 2000. He has been a Sunday School and Bible Study teacher, and has served as Singles Ministry Director. He volunteered every Thursday at a juvenile detention center, motivating the youth and offering them words of hope. He taught a 10-week Kingdom Builders Basics course, a component of the newly established Kingdom Builders Institute at CBC. James also taught a Wednesday Bible study on the campus of Cornell University. He is apart of the Gideons, and has been instrumental in passing out free Bibles all over the world. He has traveled internationally as a guest lecturer/teacher/revivalist. As a result of God's hand on his life, James has received many praise reports of healing, deliverance and restoration.

ECSTASY James is married and cherishes each moment spent with his family. James' favorite chapter in the Bible is Isaiah 12, and he strives daily to live by his favorite scripture, Colossians 3:17. During Black History Month, James was honored by the House of Hope-Atlanta as a Living Legend! When not involved in ministry work (The Ministry of James J Bolton, PhD), James delights in a (small) sausage pizza and ginger ale while watching a few episodes of the A-Team, Good Times or the first season of Diff'rent Strokes.
